KAOKA - PACKAGING

Kaoka was born from a simple truth: chocolate is inseparable from our most cherished memories. It accompanies celebrations of every kind, takes on countless forms — powder, chips, rabbits, bars, or candies — and finds its way into nearly every corner of our daily lives. Yet few of us truly know it. Where does it come from? What does it reveal about the land it originates from? How is it crafted, and by whom?

Once considered sacred by the Mayas and Aztecs — the true “food of the gods” — chocolate has since become a mass-consumed delicacy. Kaoka seeks to reconnect us with its authentic roots, while honoring both tradition and modern indulgence.

We developed a new visual identity and packaging system for Kaoka, designed to highlight the product’s origin, its cultural heritage, and the intimate connection between chocolate and memory.
